We’re on our 5th week of skating and I’m amazed at how well our 6 year old – who has taken lessons for 2 years at another location – has progressed. Jennifer T. Parent Skating as a child and skating as an adult are not the same! Having some basic skating skills I lacked the confidence and ability to actually enjoy skating! Beginner skating lessons at North Toronto Skating club has finally helped me to once more enjoy skating as well being able to do some fancy skating moves. Next, skating the Ottawa Canal in winter! I didn’t come to NT until later in my skating career, but the coaches were always so kind and welcoming, and I loved being coached by them. Paige M. I got my first job experience working in the music room; I volunteered as a program assistant and I progressed to being a Canskate coach!
